Did you know you can tell somebody’s age and education level just by the grip of their handshake? Well believe it or not, it is possible.
Researchers from the International Institute for Applied Systems Analysis found that people with a higher education level at the age of 69 had a grip as strong as those who are less educated at the age 65. This shows that those with a higher education level felt several years younger compared to those with a lower education level.
Another study was done on more than a million Swedish adolescent males. The results were that those with a weaker handshake were more likely to die earlier, had heart disease, more likely to experience psychological problem or commit suicide. This study was part of a military examination for military service.
