Centum Investment Company posted a 22 percent growth in after tax profit for the year ended March 31, 2014. This is a figure of sh3 billion up from around sh2.5 billion the previous year. The company’s net asset value grew by 42 percent.
19% of the company’s portfolio is based outside Kenya. Currently the company has plans to buy a majority stake in K-Rep Bank, around 66 percent. This will push the company’s stake to 67.54 percent. This is an effort to diversify its portfolio and reduce risk exposure. The company has massive investments in real estate within and outside the country
