President Uhuru Kenyatta is set to go to The Hague in Netherlands for his ICC summon. A number of Members of Parliament are also going to accompany the President there. This number is over 120 MPs plus some Cabinet Secretaries, Senators and Governors. Each one of them will cater for their own expenses. The trial chambers can only accommodate 75 people so majority of the people will watch through screens just like the rest of Kenyans or miss it all together.
Nairobi Senator Mike Sonko has decided to be very philanthropic and offered to fully pay for 16 people to travel together with everyone. He made this announcement via social media. This is what he had to say: I am willing to sponsor 16 people to accompany our President His Excellency Uhuru Kenyatta to the Hague to show support and solidarity. I need 3 young guys and 3 young ladies (atleast one gospel singer), 6 religious leaders from different denominations and 4 elderly men and women.
