Opposition leader Raila Odinga was on Wednesday rushed to Karen hospital for food poisoning. This was after complaining of feeling unwell in the morning.

His spokesman Dennis Onyango has said he is currently feeling better and has been discharged. “Raila Odinga was taken ill Wednesday morning. He was rushed to Karen Hospital, where he was diagnosed with food poisoning. He was treated and discharged. Odinga was to close the Devolution Conference in Naivasha on Thursday, March 8, but he won’t attend. Instead, NASA co-principal Moses Wetangula will represent him,” Onyango said.

Raila’s daughter, Rosemary Odinga, is also currently in South Africa for treatment of complaining of persistent migraines.
