10. Breguet Antique Number 2667 – $4.5 Million

This watch features a stylish traditional design. It has an 18k yellow gold case plus two oscillating bodies. It was sold at Christie’s auction in Geneva and grabbed the title of the most expensive ever purchase in Breguet’s history. It has two movements based on the chronometer principle plus two separate dials. The first numbered with arabic numerals while the second with Roman numerals.

 

9. Louis Moinet Meteoris – $4.6 million

This is a watch whose manufacturer brand is based in Saint Blaise, Switzerland and named after one of the most extraordinary watchmakers in the 18th century named Louis Moinet. There are only four of these watches created with each having a different meteorite in it (moon, marrs, Rosetta Stone, Asteroid) and a tourbillon movement made of more than 50 small pieces.

When one presses the spring-loaded mechanism in the piece, the three heart shaped stones open like flower petals exposed to the sun, exposing the pave-set watch face which has three pear-shaped yellow diamonds that total 8.45 carats.
