Nairobi Ranked Second Fastest Growing City Population In Africa

African Development Bank carried out research on various cities in Africa and found out that Nairobi is the second fastest growing city in Africa just behind Dar es Salaam. This was based on the population of people whereby the population in Dar es Salaam is expected to grow from 4 million to around 6.2 million while Nairobi will grow from 4.3 million to 6.24 million by 2025.

This will cause growth in new and existing businesses due to the rise in demand for goods and services. It will be a good thing only if there is an existing infrastructure to support the population boom.
