The Eduniversal Palmes is a prominent universal ranking agency that indicates the international reputation levels of educational institutions.
Under this ranks, universities and academic institutions are awarded on the basis of the research work conducted by the International Scientific committee. The committee usually compiles the list of internationalization criteria, together with the assessments made by peers.
Rhodes University Business School in South Africa topped the African Category scoring 132 per cent, ESCA and HEM (Morocco) Universities’ business schools followed in the second and third position scoring 128 and 121 per cent respectively.
The fourth and fifth positions were taken by University of South Africa (UNISA) and Nelson Mandela Metropolitan University (NMMU) business schools that scored 105 and 104 per cent respectively.
The University of Nairobi topped the rankings this year in East and Central Africa. The Dean of the school Dr. Aduda saluted the rankings and also and described the school as a Centre of brilliant minds in Africa and a Distinguished place to engage in business ideas.
The rankings in the African Category in Kenya were as follows:
1. University of Nairobi -6th position -96%
2. Strathmore University- 13th position – 70%
3. United States International University – 13th position 60%
All of the above being ranked in the 3 palmes category
4. Catholic University of Eastern Africa ranked under 2 palmes category scored 30%
