Facebook Is Testing Self Destructing Posts

Facebook is back again with a new feature for the News Feed. This time it borrows a leaf from Snapchat. These are Facebook posts that disappear after a specified period of time.

Self destructing Facebook posts can be scheduled from between one hour and 7 days. The feature is currently available to a select group of iOS Facebook users.

Facebook has previously ventured into the disappearing content products by launching Poke and Facebook Slingshot which have not been widely popular.
