Real estate company Home Afrika inked a sh1 billion deal to build 200 houses in Lagos, Nigeria. This is its first project outside Kenya. The houses will be targeted towards middle class Nigerians.
Nigeria’s middle class is growing at a high pace just like in Kenya hence a huge housing deficit has been created. The housing gap is estimated to be at 17 million units in pent up demand. Home Afrika is also targeting other states in Nigeria since there is a high demand for apartments and maisonettes.
