Photos Of New Machakos Road Filled With Potholes In Just 2 Weeks

Machakos County broke a record in Africa for building a 33km road in just 3 months. The road runs from Makutano – Kithimani and in just two weeks potholes have already started appearing. It was done by 11 contractors where each does 3 kilometers and it cost around ksh650 million. The ward representative Nzioki Muthuka claims it was a wastage of funds and claimed the county government rushed the contractors too much. The county government has apparently started re-carpeting the road.
