KRA has signed a deal with Postal Corporation of Kenya that will allow Kenyans to renew their driving licenses and also pay stamp duty for land on any post office in Kenya.
So far 82 of PCK’s offices offer the services and this will be rolled out to more of its outlets. PCK has around 622 outlets all over the country. Currently 2000 licenses are renewed in Posta.
Posta will be able to earn commissions based on the amount of transactions it is able to conduct. This service has been able to reduce the number of people in the ever congested KRA offices in Nairobi.
Other companies that offer this service are National Bank and KCB.
