Auto dealer DT Dobie has now introduced the two-litre Jeep Compass in Kenya at a price of sh3.9 million. There is also the 4×4 Jeep versions, for those who like going off-road, at a price of sh7.5m-sh8.5m.
This car is mainly targeted towards the SUV enthusiasts who don’t want cars that consume a lot of fuel.
General Motors East Africa also plans to release the Chevrolet Trailblazer into the SUV market. It will be sold for sh4.9 million for the manual and sh5.1 million for the automatic version. Other big brands in the SUV category in Kenya are Toyota Fortuner, Toyota RAV 4, Land Rover and Ford Everest.
