USIU To Spend Ksh735m On A Student Center

(Last Updated On: February 6, 2015)

Nairobi based United States International University, USIU, has decided to fork out Ksh735 million to build a student center. This reflects the high demand of higher education in the country since most private universities are expanding their facilities to accommodate more students.

The new building will be at the university’s main campus along Thika Highway and it will host a cafeteria and a restaurant. This will also be good for students pursuing hospitality degree programmes since they will get practical lessons. There will also be a gym and an expanded healthcare center.

Financing will be done through internal cash reserves and expected completion will be mid next year.
