Centum Investment company has just released it full year results reporting a 23% rise in profit before tax to Ksh10.9bn. Well out if this cash Ksh550m will be paid out in bonuses to the 90 employees that work for the company.
If you do the math assuming everyone gets an equal amount, that around Ksh6.1m per employee. Other companies just give you a tshirt and a calendar. This is a drop by 50% from last years Ksh1 billion. Centum CEO James Mworia said the money is just a tool to retain their talented employees and manage future performance.
Capital FM owner, Chris Kirubi, owns over 25% of the company. It has invested in projects in power, real estate, financial services, fast moving consumer goods, education, ICT and health. Its newest project is the Two Rivers Mall which will be the biggest mall in East Africa.
