From afar you may think the Land Wind X7 is a Range Rover Evoque but it’s really not. Chinese carmaker, Land Wind has copied the signature body, lights, radiator, grill and the silver logo at the front edge of its bonnet.

The Range Rover Evoque costs £40,000 plus while the X7 costs just £14,000. The boss of Land Rover said his company will complain to the Chinese authority about the copying of the design since it is a breach of intellectual property laws. The intellectual property is owned by Jaguar Land Rover.

Land Wind is owned by Chinese car makers Changan Auto and Jiangling Motors Corporation.
