Citizen TV Fires Top Journalists and News Reporters

Evelyne Wambui. Kendagor Obadiah, Pheona Kenga and Patrick Injendi have faced the axe from Royal Media’s Citizen TV. This is in a move to cut down costs of operation. We all know Citizen TV has for a long time dominated the number spot in terms of viewers but it seems like digital migration has cut the revenues generated.

A few weeks ago, Citizen did what it does best and that is poaching Sam Ogina, Mercy Kandie and KTN business editor Michael Karanja in an effort to introduce fresh talent.

Evelyne Wambui was a top journalist in Citizen TV and she was behind the big Mugo Wa Wairimu story.
