Elizabeth Shatner – Inside The Life of William Shatner’s Wife

Elizabeth is the wife to popular Canadian actor William Shatner. She was born on 30th December 1958. She pursued a degree in equine and animal science at Purdue University. No information is available on her parents, siblings, education and early life.

Elizabeth was first married to Michael Gleen Martin from 1982 until 1997 when he passed away. She then went on to marry William Shatner on 13th February 2001 in Lebanon. William had also lost his third wife to accidental drowning in August 1999 at the time they met. They have a 27 year age difference. She is the step mother to Lisabeth Shatner, Melanie Shatner and Leslie Carol.

Elizabeth started out her career as a professional horse trainer. She started riding horses at the age of five. Alongside her husband they have a charity show titled Hollywood Charity Horse Show. The charity aims to help handicapped children.

She has appeared on the documentary E! True Hollywood Story and Spplat Attack in 2002. She has also appeared in other films like Life Beyond Trek: William Shatner in 2004, Gonzo Ballet in 2009, American Pickers in 2011, The Captains in 2012 and The Shatner Project in 2014. She has also appeared in Huey Lewis and Do You Believe in Love, a News video. She has also collaborated with her husband in writing the song Together in Shatner’s album, Has Been. She has also received the WHINNY award for her contributions.

Elizabeth is a photographer and digital artist with her own art called Flowrosophy which means the proportionate use of shapes, colors and light. She also started her own art series titled Art by Nature which consists of digitally painted photographs of horses.
