Gor Mahia Team Visits President Uhuru Kenyatta.

After winning the Kenya Premier League, Gor Mahia got the privilege to visit the president at State House. This is what the president had to say about it: I am really keen to see that the sports lottery is established as soon as possible. This will promote our young people’s budding talents in sports. My Government will do everything to promote soccer in the country. Football is supposed to be an important avenue for boosting national cohesion and for that to happen, all negative elements that tarnish the game must be removed. I am sure if we stop hooliganism, football clubs will attract more sponsors from the corporate world. I urge the management of clubs to embrace transparency and accountability for football to thrive.
