Government Bans Shisha Smoking In Kenya

The Government of Kenya through the Ministry Of Health has become the third country in Africa to ban the smoking of shisha after Tanzania and Rwanda implemented the same thing.

They put up a public notic banning all importation, manufacture and sale of shisha with immediate effect. It is said that in a single session, shisha smokers can inhale smoke equivalent to 100 or more cigarettes.

Anyone found selling shisha will be liable for punishment under section 163of Public Health Act.
