How To Disable Twitter In App (Internal) Browser

Twitter has recently introduced a new feature in its app where by when you click on a link, instead of being directed to an external browser, the website gets opened by Twitter’s very own in app browser. For some people this is a faster way of browsing but for others it is inconvenient since they prefer a specific browser because of the features it offers.

So how do you disable the internal browser/in app browser on Twitter.

1. Open your Twitter app

2. Go to Settings

3. Click on General

4. Uncheck the box on “Use in-app browser”

It is as simple as that.
