How IEBC Shot Down Cord’s Okoa Kenya Referendum Plans

In order to make the country to go for a referendum, Cord had to get 1 million signatures. Out of the over 15 million voters this should be easy right? Well it was hard for Cord to do this simple job.

They submitted 1.6 million signatures and after 90 days only 891,598 were declared valid. There was a rigorous process of quality checks, double entry and those outright fake were brought down.
