JKUAT Releases Its Own Laptop Made In Kenya
It looks like the talent in our Kenyan universities is make great strides forward. JKUAT has released a laptopĀ under the brand name Taifa. The machines were assembled here in Kenya. It is being sold at a price tag of Ksh46,720 each.
The design was done locally and it is the maiden product of the Nairobi Industrial and Technology Park. It has a 4GB RAM and a 500GB hard drive. The processor is a Corei3 processor. Around 4000 units will be sold in select shops.
