BIOGRAPHY
Kennya Baldwin is a Brazilian graphic designer and wife to Stephen Baldwin.
She was born in Brazil real name Kennya Deodata to musicians Eumir Deodata and Mary Ellen Deodata. Her father is a Bossa Nova legend and a pianist, record producer, composer and arranger. He is also a Grammy Award winner in 1974 for Best Pop Instrumental Performance. She is of Portuguese and Italian descent.
She studied at York Preparatory School in New York and later studied graphic designs at Parsons School of Design.
She is married to Stephen Baldwin an American producer, actor and author. The two got married in 1990 after 3 years of dating. Together they have 2 children Alaia Baldwin and Hailey Baldwin who are both models.
She is a staunch Christian and it’s believed she is the reason why her husband also became a strong Christian.
In 2009, Kennya and Stephen had a run in with the law for defaulting on tax payment for 3 years. Considering the two co owned most of their property the tax default fine was a joint fine with both of them required to pay. As a result the two of them filed for bankruptcy in 2009.
CAREER
After graduating as a graphics designer, she started off as a graphic designer.
She was also responsible for homeschooling her two daughters in order to keep up with the husbands travelling.
