Kidero Introduces Yellow Line Boxes To Reduce Traffic In CBD

Nairobi Central Business District is the busiest city in East Africa with too many cars on the road. This leads to hours and hours of traffic.

Governor Evans Kidero is here to rescue you from this traffic. He has re-introduced Yellow boxes at various junctions. These will be placed at intersection such as Kenyatta Avenue, Mama Ngina Street, Wabera Street, City Hall and other various junctions.

Now how will this help? They work together with traffic lights. When the light turns green, motorists should not enter the yellow boxes till the exit is clear. If you enter before, you will be arrested. Maybe this will prevent obstruction but I don’t see how traffic jam will be reduced. Let’s wait and see.
