Liverpool have agreed a deal with Lille to sign Belgium’s 19 year old striker Divock Origi for £10 million. Divock Origi has Kenyan roots since his father is Kenyan and used to play for Kenya’s Harambee Stars. This will make him the second player with Kenyan roots to play in the English Premier League, the first is Victor Wanyama who plays for Southampton.
Origi will discuss his terms of contract during the week. Liverpool are planning to sell their striker Luis Suarez, 27, to Barcelona for £75 million. They have already signed striker Rickie Lambert and midfielder Adam Lallana for a combined fee of £29 million.
