Nairobi’s New Tallest Building Now Open. Check Out Some Stunning Photos

Standing at 163m UAP – Old Mutual Tower is currently the tallest building in Kenya for a short while since Hass Tower is under construction and set to be around 300m tall, double the height of Old Mutual Tower.


UAP Old Mutual Tower has 33 floor and is located in Upper Hill. Construction took around 5 years at an estimated cost of ksh5 billion. At opening day over 50% of the office spaces had already been taken up. 300,000 square foot of Grade A office space plus 25,000 sq feet of retail space is up for grabs.


When fully occupied the tower will generate an estimated monthly rent of around Ksh50 million since the charges are around Ksh120 – Ksh180 per sq ft. The building has a gym, cafeteria, pharmacy, dry cleaner, salon, convenience store, barber shop etc.


The building is served by 8 high speed lifts/elevators and has 800 parking bays.
