Orange Boosts Its 3G Network In Eldoret

For those living and those who travel to Eldoret and would like to use Orange Internet on 3G, your worries may soon come to an end. Orange has rolled out its 3G network service into Uasin Gishu county.

Orange currently has a 1.2 per cent market share with one of the fastest internet speeds from my personal experience. The Orange 3G network will cover Eldoret town, Moi University, Iten and some areas nearby.

CEO Mickael Ghossein is planning to roll out 3G across the country and that is his main agenda for the year. Currently, Orange 3G network covers Nairobi, Kisumu, Mombasa and Eldoret.

Mobile data subscriptions in Kenya grew to over 13 million from 12 million the previous quarter.
