World Cup celebrations kicked off on 12th June at the Arena de Sao Paulo in Brazil. The ceremony cost £4.5 million. Jennifer Lopez, rapper Pitbull and Brazilian pop-star Claudia Leitte were among the main performers. Their official World Cup song “We Are One” cheered the crowd. Lopez had worn a sparkling green sequin dress for the performance.
