Photos Of The Ksh900,000 Gown Yemi Alade Wore To The BET Awards

Recently the BET Awards were held whereby Beyonce did an exceptional opening performance. Africa was also represented by a number of African artists such as Wiz Kid, Yemi Alade, Diamond Platnumz, Davido etc.

Yemi Alade has been nominated for the “Best International Act: African Category” but lost out to South Africa’s Black Coffee. She had worn a designer gown from Zuhair Murad’s 2016 Resort Collection that reported cost around Ksh900,000. A sum that is more expensive than most of the cars on our Kenyan roads.

This collection has been worn by celebrities such as Beyonce, Taylor Swift, Jennifer Lopez and Michelle Obama.
