Radio Africa Group Stations’ Transmitters Get Destroyed
Did you notice that Classic 105, Jambo FM, Radio Jambo, East FM and Bamba TV are down? The stations are currently off air country wide after their transmission equipment got destroyed.
An 8 seater plane with only a pilot on board hit the transmission masts in Limuru yesterday at 4pm. The pilot was killed on the spot. Heavy rains in the area have caused very poor visibility. The plane crashed into a house also and injured a woman and her child who were inside at the time.
Radio Africa owns a number of stations such as Classic, Jambo FM, Radio Jambo, East FM, Kiss 100 and Bamba TV. All these were affected and are currently off air. The technical personnel are on the ground to assess the damage. This is according to Radio Africa’s CMO Caroline Mutoko
