Roads To Be Closed During Obama Visit In Kenya

A list of roads to be closed has been released by the Nairobi County Commissioner during the 3 day visit by President Barack Obama.

ON FRIDAY:

Mombasa Road, Uhuru Highway and Waiyaki Way will be closed

ON SATURDAY:

Within the CBD, Haile Selassie, Thika Road, Limuru Road and Waiyaki Way

Over 10,000 police officers will be around to provide security where Obama will be staying. United States security personnel will also be around during the patrols and will collaborate with the Kenya police.

Expect heavy traffic in the roads that will be open. Avoid functions if you can.
