Justin sings to his wife Hailey Baldwin Bieber telling her that he is and will always be there for her regardless of anything. He tells her that she is the only one he will ever love even if they separate in the future and she moves on.

The track is part of the album Justice released in 2021. In the video, Justin imitates the famous boxer Rocky from the 1976 film.

The song was the fourth and final single from Kenny Rogers’ eleventh studio album Share Your Love. It peaked at #13 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart and remained in the Top 40 for eleven weeks.

Lyrically, the song is about someone who has been with Kenny Rogers for so many years that he can’t remember a time when they weren’t around. She has been with him through the ups and downs of life and stayed strong through the whole period.

This was a love song to his then new wife Jessica Biel. The two had initially taken a break briefly but they reconciled after a few months and ended up getting married shortly. Justin stated that this is a love song to someone that you feel is your other half and someone that mirrors you as you go through changes in life.

The song and the music video is also dedicated to Justin’s grandparents (William and Sadie Bomar) who have been married for 63 years until William’s death in 2012. It inspired Justin to write the song in 2009.

The track was inspired by Taylor’s next-door neighbors who were an old couple that had known each other since they were kids. They shared their story with Taylor and she was touched by it.

In an interview with Fanpop, Taylor Swift had this to say, “I wrote this song about a couple who lived next door to us. They’d been married forever and they came over one night for dinner and were just so cute. They were talking about how they fell in love and got married, and how they met when they were just little kids. It was really comforting to know that all I had to do was go home and look next door to see a perfect example of forever.”

 

5. Ed Sheeran – Thinking Out Loud


This is one of Ed Sheeran’s biggest hit songs and was the first song to spend a full year in the UK Top 40 and the first song to reach 500 million streams on Spotify. The song was about his then-girlfriend Athina Andrelos who at the time worked for English celebrity chef Jamie Oliver. They broke up in 2015 after dating for about a year.

The song is off the album World Of Out Own released in 2001. The group sings about appreciating the time they have had with a loved one and hoping to spend many more years together till they grow old.

This is a duet cover for the song that was originally sung by Diana Ross and Lionel Richie for the 1981 film of the same name. It peaked at #2 on the charts and stayed in the top 40 for 13 weeks.
