7 Songs About Not Needing A Man
There is nothing wrong with wanting love or a relationship but a number of women often get caught up with the notion that they can’t really make it without a partner. It is very much possible to be an independent and successful woman. Check out the list of songs about not needing a man:
1. Rihanna – Needed Me
This is a 2016 track off the album ANTI. Rihanna tells the story of one of her many casual hookups. Here we see the guy misinterpret her intentions for actual love and ends up confessing that he needed her plus he was in love with her. Rihanna kept it real with him by telling him that she did enjoy the time spent with him but it wasn’t that deep for her. Hence she doesn’t really need him anymore.
The song peaked at #7 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart and spent a total of 45 weeks on the chart making it one of Rihanna’s longest charting songs.
2. The Pussycat Dolls – I Don’t Need A Man
The track is from the group’s debut studio album, PCD, and was released as the fifth official single. It is about feeling free and not feeling the need to have a man in a woman’s life to make her feel complete.
