10 Songs About Rekindled Love
Rekindled love refers to the revival or reignition of romantic feelings and affection between two people who have had a previous romantic relationship or connection. It involves a renewed sense of love, attraction, and emotional connection between individuals who may have drifted apart, broken up, or experienced a period of distance.
Rekindled love often involves one or both individuals rekindling the passion, intimacy, and emotional bond that they once shared. This rekindling can occur after a period of separation or when circumstances change, allowing the individuals to revisit their relationship.
Reasons for rekindled love can vary, and they may include personal growth, changed circumstances, or a newfound appreciation for each other. Some people may rekindle love with an ex-partner, while others may experience it with someone they’ve known for a long time but never pursued a romantic relationship with.

This song is kind of an instruction manual for a guy who has broken up with his girlfriend and lets six months go by and the lengths he will need to go to to get her back. It was about the dark side of love and about the extraordinary ability to be resurrected by it once dead. It’s about obsession, and that can be scary because you’re not in control and you don’t know where it’s going to stop. It says that, at any point in somebody’s life, when they loved somebody strongly enough and that person returns, a certain touch, a certain physical gesture can turn them from being defiant and disgusted with this person to being subservient again.
