Why Jenna Marbles Doesn’t Take Endorsement Deals

Jenna Marbles is one of the most famous ladies on YouTube thanks to her channel which has over 15 million subscribers and over 2 billion total video views. She is also big on Vine with over 2.1 million followers.

With all these millions of people at the reach of her fingertips, she has the potential to make millions of dollars. Jenna recently revealed that she never takes endorsement deals with brands nor does she do sponsored content. This is what she said:

I think that with the internet, the most important thing you have is that you’re a genuine person and people trust you. People trust that when you turn on YouTube it’s really you. Working with brands and things can be great and a lot of people do it really well, but for me, it feels very much like stuffing my own pockets with money and taking advantage of the people that are there to see me.

Jenna Marbles is still making a lot of bank without all these deals and that is through the YouTube Partner program. Here she makes a lot of money through YouTube ads. Average 1 million hits a day on her YouTube channel, this can easily translate to $1,000 everyday. Must be way more money than she can spend.

Back in 2013, The New York times estimated her yearly income to be at $346,000. She has never signed with any network neither does she have many assistants and producers. She says she loves her freedom and she just wants to do silly things in her bedroom.
