Zuku Market Share In Fixed Line Internet Market In Kenya

Wananchi Group, the company that owns Zuku, now has a double digit lead over Liquid Telecom, the company that is its closest challenger. According to statistics from Communication Authority of Kenya (CA), Zuku has a market share of 44.7% after gaining 12,299 subscribers between January and March 2014. Liquid Telecoms market share, which is number two in the market, is around 17,8 percent after dropping from 23.7 percent.

Safaricom, a new member in this fiber optic services, grew by 564 subscribers giving it a market share of 7.1 percent. Jamii Telecom (company behind Faiba) has a market share of 2.6 percent.
